Thom Christopher, Hawk on Buck Rogers, has passed away at age 84

Thom Christopher died yesterday, 12/05/2024, at the age of 84. Lots of nice writeups remembering him as the consummate gentleman.

Not really ready for this trend. Besides Shatner, not a whole lot of my 60's heroes left. The torch had passed to the '70s and '80s guys. In my mind (and on my screen), these men are forever young. I vividly remember watching the second season premiere of Buck Rogers. I enjoyed it. Thank you, Mr. Christopher!

wow. that sucks. I loved the character of Hawk. he was just so cool to 8 year old me. RIP

I have to admit that i loved season 2 as a little kid. And was a big fan of Hawk and his cool looking ship. RIP.

I didn't think much of the format change in season two, but I sure liked Christopher as Hawk and the season opener. RIP.
