Fell asleep last week, again! Gonna post this before I do so again! HAHAHA
Something different this week, I dig the Doobie Brothers and I got into them through that two-part episodes of "What's Happening" .
Michael McDonald is one hell of a singer and I was listening to him on the car radio this week and he sounded so damn good.
here is "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)" from the album 'If That's What It Takes' (1982)
On a side note, Michael co-wrote "PANAMA" with David Lee Roth after (Producer) Ted Templeman asked him to help out.
Michael said that royalty cheque he got was more then he ever got paid from the Doobies! HA!

This song reminds me of the '84 Toyota Supra that my future Father-In-Law lent to my future Wife. Still remember cassette tapes of The English Beat's Special Beat Service and the Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams laying around in it.

the continuation of ELP, except it was Carl Palmer, Robert Berry and Keith Emerson this time around. circa 1988.
Not a band idea/project and Robert Berry was a good musician; Bass, Guitar and vocals. Didn't last though.
