Was listening to Billy Idol's show on First Wave and he was telling a story about when Siouxsie wanted him to be her guitarist in the early years of the Banshees. He basically told her, that yeah, he can play a guitar, but he's no guitarist and she needs a true guitarist. So, she decided to go with melancholy boy. Worked out pretty well.
