Damn! I never thought I would be writing yet another tribute in the same day! Truly, this really sucks.............. Kris was just a legend in music. While I was never a huge fan of his singing or acting, boy could he write a song!!!!!! I absolutely loved "Me and Bobby McGee" which he co-wrote. That was one of Janis Joplin's greatest songs!!! He was just so immensely talented -- singer, actor, writer -- Grammy Award winner! What a shame to lose such a talented man. Kris was 88.

RIP to him. He was a Renaissance Man.

I always thought it was BS that his family more or less disowned him for choosing to follow that path in life that he wanted to take, instead of what they thought he should do.
