"The Karate Kid" is a legendary film. Certainly, everyone remembers William Zabka's Johnny Lawrence -- the king bully to Ralph Macchio's Daniel LaRusso. However, secondary in the film was another great bully named Dutch. By far, Chad McQueen was best known for that role. He was fantastic in the film (for what it called for). It is a shame he was the only holdout to ever appear on Netflix's "Cobra Kai." Years ago, it was reported he just "was not interested in reprising the role." Of course, Chad was the son of the legendary star Steve McQueen. While Chad did make some movies, like his dad, his love was always with race car driving. Sadly, Chad was only 63.

It was sad to read this for sure. 63 is way too young, and I had wished he would have reprised his Karate Kid roll. Honestly the Cobra Kai series was/is a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it as was happy it brought new life to some of those actors.
Sort of related, could you imagine having Steve McQueen as you father? Oh my gosh, how crazy would that have been. -
