YES vs RUSH -- Monday question

Ok, you're trapped in an inescapable prison cell.

Your punishment is 24 hours of listening to YES or RUSH over the blaring loudspeakers.

    Which would you choose ?

Don't know either of them. And I probably don't want to

I gotta agree; and I'm Canadian. Our species has a natural resistance to Rush.

Worst problem with RUSH is their lead singer has that old lady voice and is really annoying.

Zeppelin and Guns and Roses suffer from the same old lady voice problem

I'd have to go with Rush. Never really liked much of anything by Yes.

With Yes, the extra pain comes from the fact that in that 24 hour period you are being forced to listen, you wont make it though the chorus of "Seen all good people", which goes on for at least 4 days with just that one line repeating.

                            I love, love, love Yes!

And Rush isn't too shabby either.

So my punishment is that I can only listen to one and not the other? Because sometimes I go 24 hours without listening to either one. I guess if I'm listening over 'blaring loudspeakers,' I'd choose RUSH because then maybe I'd finally be able to hear the quite part of 'The Necromancer'!

Rush may have more songs, but Yes songs can be a lot longer. Hell, they have one song that's TWO albums long!

As a totally random side note, I was in a band that opened for YES once. (go ahead and say it, "You were the OPENING band for YES? Does that mean your band sucked even more than them?" )
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.
