Talk about your underrated actors! If ever there were one, Martin Mull was it! However, what a fine actor he was! I first remembered him in "My Bodyguard" (another underrated film). He was really good in that film opposite Ruth Gordon and Chris Makepeace. I also enjoyed him in "Mr. Mom" with Michael Keaton and Teri Garr. However, for me, he will always be Col. Mustard in "Clue." The entire cast in that 1985 film were just fantastic! While it was a bomb at the box office when it came out, it is a cult classic today! Martin Mull, a darn good actor, was 80.

I remember Fernwood Tonight with Martin Mull and Fred Ward when I was a kid. I felt like it was a comedy but I was never sure. The current Between Two Ferns seems to be a great update on this concept. Loved seeing Fred Ward show up as Mulls life partner on RoseannComment

That IS one of my favorite Movies of ALL TIME! It shows a CHICAGO that no longer exists. Everything in that film was SOOO Real and it is sad that a lot of those places don't exist anymore. The DELI was either on WELLS street or it was on FRANKLIN Street???? The scene at the end where they are walking through Lincoln park was so kool. Yes, Lincoln Park is still there.Talk about your underrated actors! If ever there were one, Martin Mull was it! However, what a fine actor he was! We had our 1994 Holiday party at the Ambassador East, which is where they shot the Hotel scenes in the film. Very ritzy joint!!
Damn Great film and and great script. Mull didn't have as big a role as Makepeace and Baldwin, but he was there and he did good along with Ruth Gordon!!
RIP Mr. Mull and Thank you.
