Yeah a really strange dynamic. I love watching old footage of him. He was a really great running back. And he was in some pretty cool movies.
But… -
He can finally rest easy in the knowledge that his wife's killer is dead.Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figuresComment

Growing up near Buffalo in the 70's, OJ was a childhood hero. I had a poster of him in my room. He was the only good thing the Bills had for the entire decade. And then he went on to movies and commercials and seemed to have such a nice, affable personality. Until he didn't. One just can't get much joy out of remembering his play or watching videos of him running. He was the best running back of the 70's, maybe the vest player, and he did it on 9 years worth of lousy teams where the defense knew he was coming. And it doesn't matter because...you know. Saying his legacy is complex is an understatement. It's harder to think about him than four straight Super Bowl losses or the "Music City Miracle" or "13 seconds" or any of that.Comment
