he was in declining health recently. One of the SCTV greats who enjoyed a long career tho never really broke out the way Candy and Moranis did.

While I appreciate all of his work I've seen, I regularly use his take on the word "JACKASS!" from Happy Gilmore on nearly a daily basis.

Loved his SCTV stuff but had my appreciation of him renewed when he played Harold Weir in "Freaks and Geeks". I still catch episodes of F&G on and off and always get a big kick out of his performance.
