Lou Conter -- RIP

I thought this was really interesting, especially for history and/or WW II enthusiasts (such as myself). Lou Conter was the last living USS Arizona survivor after the Pearl Harbor attack. It was that attack that launched America into World War II. He was only 20 at the time. There were 2,403 lives lost on that ship that day. Only 335 officers and crewman survived. He ended up serving in 3 wars. A true hero in every sense of the word. God bless our troops both past and present! Lou was 102 years old.

I never knew he was born in WI (Ojibwa, Wisconsin) until they mentioned it in the report about him on last night's news.
