So. . . .anyone here worn kilt?

The Kilt recently came up in the Sunday Morning Belgium Trivia thread, and it made me wonder who else here may have worn a kilt?

I lived in Scotland for a couple of years, my wifes family is Scottish, and I have been to a number of weddings in Scotland, so I have worn a kilt a few times. I own my own. . . .but last year had to hire one (OK so I didn;t fit in to my one anymore), So that my son and I would match, when we went back to Scotland for a wedding. I think there is a picture in the Mego Girls sticky thread somewhere.

Anyone else here have any Scottish connection or worn a kilt?

It's not a real Scottish kilt, just a cheap copy you can buy at festivals, but it's good enough for me. Can't afford a real anyway

I am very proud of my Scots Heritage, but I have never worn a Kilt. Not that I wouldn't...just never had the occasion.

One of my best friends is a piper and wears a Kilt at events.

He and I often laugh that we are the last ones to ***** about anything. Seems that rain, stones, and misery are part of our heritage and something we can easily tolerate.

Ohh...come on, Thomas. You can pour whiskey on it as a sauce, if you want.

Anyone ever had a "Scotch Egg"? Heart attack on a plate, but it is delicious.
