THAT'S what I don't like about it. That.... and vampire baseball. *shudder* (You'd never se Lugosi playing vampire baseball....) It's a chick flick, so I know EXACTLY what happens. The whole "vampire" thing is barely an ad-on. Even the werewolves in the new one look like a sad attempt to make guys feel less awkward about watching. (Kinda how they throw a love interest in every guy film.) All told, it's a less manly version of "Bridget Jones' Diary." It's the same old same old, which everybody thinks is new 'cos it's been more than 5 years since "Interview With the Vampire."

I was forced to take my daughter to it for her birthday last year...
I suffered through it for her she liked it so did her friend.

Yeah So..., I got sucked into Watching about Half of this Last night. This Flick is Seriously Barbie & 90210 Meets Vampires. Edward's Been around for Like 100 Yrs..., & This Guy Just Happens to Get Magically P-W'ed over Some Chick in High School that's Just Average Looking at best, and seems to really be a Pain in the Arse that seems to also Have a Nack for Getting herself in Trouble like Lois Lane Does ? ... And I mean come-On ... with How Creepy Edward & Is fellow Vamps are, no Warning signs went off ?

... BTW, if Edward is like 100 yrs Old,.. & the Chick is 17.... isn't that some sorta Grounds for Statutory Rape ? ... Or some sorta Pedifile Act ? .

The Re-Write of what We all Know about Vampires is just so Dolled-up... , with every Knew Revelation in the Flick, I found myself Cringing with Fear.

1. Sparkle Vampires
2. Tree Flying Vampires
3. Baseball Playing Vampires
4. Vampires that can Walk in the Day,.. But Not Sun because they Sparkle
5. When Refuring to Issue # 4 ..., they Live in a Very Heavily Windowed House..., so if these Guys , they stay away from Sun..., so people don't know who they are,.. but yet they Welcome the Sun into thier House ?
6. a 100+ yr old Vampire That has some sorta Sexual Fetish with a 17 yr old..., Ok He Obviously needs some help there.
7. the Same 100 yr Old Dude,.. Sneaks into this chicks House & Bedroom, while her & or her Dad are Sleeping..., thats very Creepy ..
8. Dude's Brothers & Sisters seem to "Keep it in the Family"
9. All the Wack-O's out there that made this Pile Popular to Begin with..
10. All the Action Figures of this Nonsense,.. Putting the Idea out there to children, that this kinda Behavior seems to be ok ...

None of this Makes myself, personally think of a Movie as a Chick Flick... It's Deeper,.. well, it's Just Crap.
