I heard that yesterday on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption and was beside myself when Michael Wilbon said, "I have never heard of them and could care less." Jesus. Did we not hear anything outside of the Jackson Five and James Brown growing up? I was so put off by that. I could just hear his response if Tony Kornheiser had said something like that about say someone like Lionel Richie. What a complete flake.

I heard this on a sports program yesterday that said if a band is not on any current players MP3 player,,,they should NOT be playing in the Superbowl....
Of all Bands the Freekin WHO??? come on the Stones are one thing but the WHO???? Will the Hooters girls have a half time show on another channel?

Although I love The Who, it is an odd choice for the Super Bowl, I agree.

I saw them in concert a few years ago and it was awesome. Roger and Pete can still rock. They played for about 2 hours and ended without playing a single song from Tommy. I was bummed. ***, I thought. Then after maybe 10 min, the house lights went out and a single spotlight came on Pete Townsend alone on stage doing the acoustic opening to Pinball Wizard. They went on the do 45 more min ALL from Tommy it was awesome!
