Identified a song stuck in my head

Hi. This doesn't happen to me often enough, so I'd like to celebrate. I was at the Blue Jackets game on Wed night, watching their humiliating 9-1 loss to Detroit. The high point of the game was during a stoppage of play when they showed a few America's Funniest video clips on the scoreboard. The background song was familiar, but I couldn't place it. I woke up at 3:30 this morning with it stuck in my head.

However, I took the opportunity to write down the words I could remember, and I identified the song via the Web this evening. It took just under an hour to come up with Romeo's Tune, by Steve Forbert. Good song.

Or you can be a musician on stage and doing a simple Beatles song or a KISS classic and your brain can work opposite and you can have a total brain fart to an easy song and you stand there mumbling lyrics to a song everyone knows. Our brains sometimes work weird when it comes to recalling songs. Ugh
