Phoenix taxi driver...

Had a surprise work trip sprung on me at the last minute and ended up in Phoenix yesterday for a quick overnight. Didn't think I'd have time to do anything but as it turns out, work was done at 5 and my flight is at 11, so I called the Mego hotline for a taxi to the airport. Paul Clare (Hulk for those that might now know) was cool enough to come get me, drive me to get some food and a couple cold ones, and drop me at the airport.

Thanks much Paul! I'm all screwed up with what month it is now. All of a sudden it feels like June.

One thing I've noticed since joining here is that the Mego Family is pretty awesome. And Paul (Hulk) has always been a cool guy even though I only know him in passing here at the Museum. When I finally make Mego Meet, it will be an honor to meet the both of you, and everyone else too!

It was great to have a couple end of the day/after work beers with a True friend and megohead. Glad we were able to connect Dave, and thanks for the brewskis. To paraphrase another megohead "Aww yeah Man, mini Mego Meet at the Hooters! "
