Hector Zacarias is a mild mannered Hispanic American owner of a car wash/Taco stand during the day...

At night he is the sword slashing one known as... El Vigilante

(Better picture of El Vigilante coming soon. I was lazy and used a DC Animated template.)

Heh hehe.....I gave my character a "real name" Thanks Hector!!!

Through many generations; Hector is the current El Vigilante to inherit the family sword. They are a generation of Spanish vigilantes that have dressed in the legendary costume since the dawn of the 20th century. Recently, Hector who has returned from many years in Japan has studied some of the best hand to hand martial arts and sword fighting skills that his family's money can buy. At the death of his father, Hector found the legendary sword and costume and has made his appearance as the new El Vigilante, defending the streets of a Oakland, California that is over run with crime and hard core Hispanic and black gangs that have been terrorizing people for years.

El Vigilante has currently altered the family costume and lined the inside of the suit with bullet proof fibers to protect him from bullets. So far, he has been shot several times. The bullets don't enter the suit but the blunt force from the hit still hurts and causes great pain. El Vigilante's sword fighting skill is probably the best in the land. Hector has traveled far to learn many different sword skills, combing all of them to his current setup with the family sword. Where El Vigilante turns up next, you'll have to wait and see. Only Hector knows who is going down and will pay at the hands of El Vigilante...
