Just now, a cat was passing in our yard.
My dogs, a German shepherd and a Jack Russell spotted the offender and ran to the door. The door was about a foot open, and they burst out at the same time, but the door opening wasn't wide enough.
Amazingly enough, they got stuck together in the opening (the door opens inward), and because of the stone floor, they actually started running "on the spot", but couldn't advance, their paws just sliding over the smooth floor. This lasted several seconds.
And neither of them wanted to give the other first crack at the cat.

In my head, I could hear a cartoon sound effect, and I really had to laugh.
Who knew cartoons were actually true?
PS: the cat was miles away by then, probably having a good laugh....
