Ric Flair is older than Hogan and when he drags his sorry old *** in the ring the fans still love it.
The difference is that even at 60 years of age, Flair is about a billion times the performer that Hogan was in his prime.
Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

See, people will defend Flair because they like him and he can do no wrong in their eyes -- including looking like he's 99 years old

Hogan has the same fan base if not bigger so they are a good comparison.

Women have their soap operas, men have wrestling. Why they watch them,it's just one of those things.

Hogan's level of physical decay is worse. his back is shot and both knees and I think his hip too. Hogna looks better with his shirt off but flair has more mobility as a wrestler

Maybe it's a cutural thing the battle of good versus evil. the acting involved. I equate it to going to see a film based on a book or comic you may know the plot before you walk in but you cna still enjoy the drama of the moment by suspending the disbeleif

Flair is in better shape I'm sure to pure physics,I mean hogan weighs like 60lbs more than flair and is taller when he falls down or drops the big leg that's a hell of a beating on his own body.Flair was never into that he was a smart wrestler(actor) picking apart the limbs with holds like a surgeon if you will.No dropping or real pounding on his bone structure.Lets also not forget Hogans rampant steroid use/abuse it wears down the body now he is feeling the effects of that.As for his back I'm sure he is still feeling the pain from slamming Andre that was 550lbs of dead weight...LOL
I liked to watch wrestlers like flair and Bret heart for these reasons they were more entertaining than hogan or the warrior due in large that there matches were wars and lasted longer going back and forth.

Hogan and the warrior came out made a big splash amped up the crowd and went away. The only time these guys had matches of any length was pay per views and wrestlemanias.

“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

Here's the thing, Hogan's mobility as a wrestler really doesn't matter...

Because even when Hogan was in his prime, he didn't do much. He was CAPABLE of a lot more (See his matches in Japan with Inoki or Muta (He throws out an enziguri!)) but for the most part American audiences are used to Hogan plodding around the ring, punching, suplexing, clotheslining and leg dropping.

He can still do all of that stuff just fine.

Hogan began toning his style down in the late 1990's so that stuff like back rakes and chokes became staples of his arsenal, whereas Flair used to have a wide aresenal of moves and now all Flair can do is chop.

                        Hogan > Flair nowdays.

Did you know movies and TV shows are fake too? CSI isn't real either.

I wonder why people watch them?
