Thunderbirds Question

Not sure where to post this. A guy I work with came to me "to ask a geek" question. Ah, the respect of my colleagues.

Anyway, he says that on the The Thunderbirds, the characters often say the inititals "F.A.B." Maybe they end transmissions with this acronym. Anybody know what it means?

FAB on Thunderbirds is short for FABULOUS

Just like the FAB Four ... but on Thunderbirds they spell it out one letter at a time ......

example:

How are you doing ?

I'm F.A.B.

F.A.B. stands for "Fully Advised and Briefed". It's the International Rescue
equivilent of 10-4. However I don't think it's ever actually stated in any of the
episodes. The Andersons and their cohorts seem to have picked up the
expression "Fab" that was common English slang around the time the series
was made.

Someone should seriously think about releasing the G4 version of the series on DVD,with all of the info shown on the screen.

I have all the DVD's so far. Simply loved the show. I'm working on some customs but haven't had much time lately. Maybe I should drop a line to Doc. Bet those would go over fairly well as an 8 inch figure.
