    Another Great Garage Sale Find!!!!!

I found two Louisville Slugger bats that are LSU game used bats from either the 61 or 62 season, for $5 each!!!!!

One is a Jackie Robinson model and the other is a Harvey Kuenn model. The Kuenn model is signed by three players, one of which played only in 61 and 62.

These are the real McCoys, not just some store /Little League models:

One of my members' best friend's dad was one of the guys who signed the bat. The same member also owns a sports memorabilia shop and wants the Kuenn bat to give to his best friend and wants to know how much I want for it.

I am torn!!!! The bat alone is probably about $100+, but since it is a LSU game used bat, I have no idea.

Just tell him to make you an offer or maybe he has something you want for a possible trade ?

I mean it's not like you have 100% that it's authentic, You might know it is but a person buying doesn't,so that's something to think about

I have become some what of a Louisville Slugger expert in the last 3 days.

Because of certain markings on the bat, I know it is a professional grade model (not store model), it was made in the late 50's thru 62, and with "LSU" branded on the bat, it was made for the school. It pretty much adds up it is game used, plus it is signed by three players. Back in those days, baseball was not big at LSU, and they may have had 100 fans per game. The guy I got these from could have been a bat boy for a game and got these.

Another interesting piece, one of the signatures is also the starting QB for LSU in 61 who became a football asst coach for LSU (and other schools)

He does have some VARY RARE LSU stuff that I would love to have (worth alot more than this bat), but I know what he has in that stuff (way under what he is asking).

I think I am going to tell him $200 cash or $350 store credit.
