    Anybody ever do "Alien War"?

Years ago, they had the "Alien War" exhibit in London.
Some very cool original props, guys walking around in Colonial Marine outfits, etc.
But the highlight was the "Alien Experience".
They built several corridors from Aliens, with a lab with Face Huggers in tubes, the Marine Transporter vehicle, etc. Very realistic, and you get the company of three Marines.
All of a sudden, alarms go off, and the Marines urge you to the vehicle. They fire their pulse rifles at movement in the shadows!
Halfway through (add alarms, flashing red lights, steam and smoke), Alien warriors come from out of the walls, trying to grab you. A visitor gets dragged away screaming (later turned out he was an actor, of course).
The aliens pick off a Marine, and we just get to the vehicle in time. A girl grabs my arm and says she's terrified, so I offered to protect her. She was a very convincing little actress, I can tell you. She had tears in her eyes! I pushed her in the vehicle ahead of me, and I got the seat closest to the door. As it's closing, an Alien squirms in and grabs my arm, trying to drag me out. Quite hard, actually! A Marine gives him a deafening volley of his pulse rifle, right over my head.
Then the vehicle closes, and we rush off, to safety.

Believe me, that was the most exciting "exhibit" I ever did!

Sounds very cool. Around here, you'd have to sign a Novella of Release Forms before you walked into something Hands-On.

Yeah, but she wouldn't give me the time of day afterwards. There's gratitude for you...
I should have let her get chestburstered!!

I still have my ticket, and I bought an "I survived Alien War" button.
You could have your picture taken with the Marines, but that was like $20.

I remember going to this, it was at the Trocadero, right? My memory isn't so great. All I can recall is a lot of screaming, flashing lights and a guy in a rubber suit

No, you were in the adult movie store next door.
                It's a common mistake. They're very similar....
