Need some vintage Polaroid Camera help

I have a Polaroid 230 Land Camera, do they still make film that would work with it? Also do they still make batteries for it?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

    I'm guessing they probably do.

You just have to pay top dollar and get it through a specialty shop.

Look in your phone book under camera supplies and call a local mom and pop camera shop -- chances are, they would be able to get it for you before anyone else.

    Stay away from chain businesses.
They mostly deal in modern stuff

    Good luck

not sure if that camera takes pack film or not. Try looking up Poloroid 669 or 690 pack film and see what comes up.

Here is a description of some of the film types. Not sure if there is a link to current retailers on there tho.

btw: there is a mod you can make so you can use a couple of AA batteries instead of the 3v nicad thingy.

My daughter had a newer Polaroid 600 and had to pay $25 for a pack (10 pictures) since they discontinued their instant business.

Actually I believe I heard they are coming out with a new product and if it's what I saw when I looked up their website it looks kinda cool. Instant pics just like they used to have but I think they print right out of the camera now. (check out the main page of that website I linked)
                Ain't technology great?!
