    Proof ebay might have serious competition?

    So;

    I just got a neat piece of spam. It was an e-mail phishing for my Craigslist info! Never got a Craigslist one before. Very professional, very convincing. Or; it WOULD be if I had a Craigslist account.

    Silly spammers....

      But then again, ebay owns about 25% of Craigslist.

      I have yet to get any Craigslist phishing spam. But I rarely get any ebay ones either.

          Nah. It was the one where they wanted me to verify my info 'cos somebody hacked my account. Y'know.... the one I don't actually have. Unless it was a hacker FROM THE FUTURE!!!!!

              I signed up with ecrater over a year ago but haven't even done anything with it yet. A couple of people here have done some business on there though. It's not really an ebay clone, rather it just provides an easy way to set up your own online store through them. Best thing is, it's free.

                Sounds kinda cool , and I did notice that it was not directly an ebay clone. I was curious since I stumbled upon it one day. Thanks for clearing it up for me

                  I have bought several things off of ioffer.com. So far my experience has been all good.
