do you think a trekkie would have the balls to go up to or sports guy and call him a nerd? I doubt it. You've seen what happens in sports events, these fans are brutal and look for any excuse to pound your face. I've seen it happen many times in the Orange bowl

The sequel is the only movie I've ever walked out on. Friend of mine talked me into seeing it.
              It's all good!

It's kind of funny how the stereotype is sports fans are macho while any sort of fantasy pursuit is weak and sad.

Well, I've been to a few sports card conventions in my time, unathletic looking guys with glasses in ill fitting uniforms discussing meaningless stats, if you put spock ears on those dudes it's pretty seemless. I'm not knocking them, I just smell my own.

Not all Sports fans are nerdy but some definitely are and by the same token not everyone into sci/fi fantasy is a loser. Two of my old Karate Sensei were avid Star Trek fans, I fought those nerds, despite being bigger they beat me good.

I didn't mean all of them were, I was just saying that type of trekkie like the ones shown, going up to hat sort of sports fanatic and doing something like that. I know star Wars and LOTR's guys who are MMA fighters
