I have a 36 inch Sharp that my parents bought about 15 years ago so I guess that places it around 1994. They bought it and it didn't fit into their entertainment center so instead of taking it back they simply traded me for mine which was a couple years old at the time. It's been a great tv but it's time to upgrade. The picture tube is going, I accidentally ripped the coaxial cable jack out of the back, and I permanently injured my back moving it by myself like an idiot, because it weighs like 2300 pounds, and it's front-heavy BIG time. Plus it's shaped like a huge "D" and is almost impossible to carry anyways. Plus it might be coated with non-stick teflon to insure that it's dropped onto your feet if you even try to move it from one place to another. I want an HDTV. Preferably w i d e s c r e e n.

I have an old black & white TV in storage. Worked when I put it in there. lol. At home, I have an Hitachi 19" color that I bought used in 1993 for $50. So that must be going on 20 years now.
        It's all good!
