    What happened to Mythbusters??

I have liked this show from the beginning, Adam, and Jamie are entertaining and quite crafty. I also like Grant and Tory. Kari, not so much, but they needed a chick. The shows are almost always enjoyable, but lately it seems excessively scripted, and over written, especially with Grant, Tory, and Kari. Is it me or does the dialogue seem really forced, which really detracts from the show? I don't get it, they all have good personalities. Maybe they don't get along or something. Thoughts???

I liked the original episodes with just Adam and Jamie

Seems like it started going down hill when they brought more people in.

I do like the redhead girl though

        Also,
They seem to have ran out of true legit myths

Lately it seems like they're making up myths

yeah the first show were good but they were grasping for straws on many of the newer.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I watched tonight when the three new people were setting up the "blow your socks off" test, then they went to commercial. Commercials seemed to last a good five or ten minutes, then it started some other experiment with the original two, so I gave up and turned it off. Lame.

Yeah, that show is pretty out of steam.

And because they ARE out of good myths, all the latest premises are paper
thin, hence the overproducing and lack of spontaneity.

Lack of spontaneity mostly in reference to the co-team,not Adam and Jaime.

Those two are awesome and probably why the show's lasted so long.

I love the show, but I think we're a couple seasons behind on you guys, so I haven't noticed anything weird yet

                  I still like the show
for those that don't know Grant was a robot wars champion (I think from MIT) if you ever watched them on espn2 - hence his overriding need to make a robot for anything.

Tore and Kari are there to draw in a younger audience

I lost track of the show for a while, but I've caught a few episodes lately. I didn't really notice any drop in quality. I did notice Kari was pregnant though on last night's "knock your socks off" segment.

I saw one last week where they revisited the "compact car crushed and fused together by two semis" myth. It was pretty cool.

Grant was also on a Junkyard Wars special, where 3 movie special FX teams had to battle each other. His team won

If pregnant Kari is in the latest season then I am caught up with you guys after all. Again, I haven't noticed anything different, I still like the show

The show still rules some episodes are just better than others
