    I expected worse.

It's not like they gave her a buzzcut or anything. Okay, for a winter outfit I guess. If not a bit derivative of Peter's outfit. I honestly can't see Disney using that as a permanent replacement for her classic look. She's too heavily merchandised from dolls to t-shirts to risk it and there's no way Tink's fans will accept that as default look for the character. Heads would roll! Blood would spill!! Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!!!

that is sexist in itself (of the article) - what a girl covers her legs and is masculine?

it is the look in the new movie.

    can't a girl change clothes?

it seems to fit with the story and other characters so it seems like a natural choice.

i mean is batman still wearing purple gloves? He doesn't even have grey on his outfit most of the time now. Is superman's S blak and red? His cape has lengthened. Is Hulk grey? He's even taller.

things change. this kind of change doesn't negate what you knew it adds to it (unlike star wars prequels)

Watch a sneak peak of the new Tinker Bell movie 'Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure'

This page has a preview of the DVD coming out in the fall. If you jump to the end, at least the story opens up with her in her regular garb. Movie looks more like one of those Barbie DVDs than anything true to the character anyway.

I HATE revamps and re-makes.....the only RE that's good in my book is REtro....in most cases companies should stick with the original, most iconic look for the character instead of constantly feeling the need to re-brand something for the new generation....

Well I hate Tinkerbell since she got a Hollywood star over Cheetah the chimp from Tarzan...

And eew...I don't like her new look.

I'm with you right now my daughter loves Tink. I just don't get why anyone even thought it was necessary to change her look.
