How long were you a lurker here?

I joined about 3 years after finding the museum. I used to check out the galleries regularly. I also checked out the boards and read daily. One day I said to myself, you love megos, you should join.

I didn't lurk on the forums at all.

I lurked the galleries for about a week or two and then noticed the Museum had a forum ... I signed up right then and there.

I lurked for about 6 months. I started with the galleries and then read the forums almost daily. Finally, I broke down and joined so I could ask some questions and join in the fun!

I found the Museum not too long after I got my first computer. Maybe 10 years ago (not exactly sure when). I never bothered with the forums; I just liked looking at the galleries.
About a year and a half ago I was finally able to dig out my old Megos from 30+ years of storage and display them, which made me head to ebay to replace my POTA Treehouse that I had to get rid of 30 years ago due to a cross-country move. It was missing a couple pieces so I ended up trying this forum to see if I could get those pieces. Thanks mostly to JIm (critter2) I was able to do this and he sent me the part for FREE! I have been here (almost) every day since.

Hmmm, maybe a week, maybe less, I can't remember. I had the galleries bookmarked before I knew about the forum.

I never lurked here. I just wanted to buy some mego parts and jumped on the board and started asking around.

I was trading here (RTM), around 1997, before I was a member of ebay.

                Toyshop '96, Ebay '98.

There were allot of great deals had here.

After finding the Museum and falling in love with the galleries, I noticed the forum. I lurked for about a year. I had to make sure it wasn't a testosterone contest before I joined. I have a testosterone deficiency and can't compete in the "I can kick your butt", "I can kick his butt", "I can kick anyone's butt" conversations, so I had to make sure it was the right place for me. After lurking for awhile, I noticed the atmosphere here was very nerd friendly (should've been obvious to me...duh) so I decided to take the Nestea plunge and I joined up. Didn't talk much then, don't talk much now. When I get comfortable, I'll talk everyone's ear off. Should be somewhere around 2026.
