Being so close to Busch Gardens and Universal Studios , We usually go to Halloween Horror Nights , and Howl-O-Scream. Other than that there is not to many other haunted house attractions. I guess I can say that The HHN event is the best around here.In The " Real World " Vampires Do Not Sparkle. They Burn In the Sun !

More haunted corn mazes than anything else. Here in the bible belt there are always a lot of Judgement Houses that churches put on.Comment

I don't know if it's supposedly known for being hunted or not...but the Winchester Mystery House in Northern California is one creepy and unique house...

Sadly, no; but I've heard good things. Michigan has a LOT of Halloween stuff every year. If I drove my first priority would be maing one of the appearances by a childhood hero of mine:
The Ghoul - Turn blue, stay sick, climb walls.

Growing up in Johnson city everyone always talked about the "haunted hospital". People have always talked about seeing strange and scary things going on there. It still stands to this day. It was said that whenever someone tried to break in there that something bad would happen to them. In high school a few buddies and I tried to get in there. Thinking the place was just boarded up we found out that there were plates of metal bolted over all of the openings. One of the guys I was with slipped and broke his ankle while we were going behind the house. Needless to say we left to take him to the hospital and never got in there. A few years ago the truth came out and it was just an old wise tale.
There are lots of places around here said to be haunted. Right next to us is the oldest town in TN, Jonesborough and there's said to be lots of old houses haunted, especially by civil war soldiers and slaves.

in fact, just last night, my friends and I threw a 30th birthday party for a close friend there on the set of local horror host Wolfman Macs show. the place and the folks running it are all top notch for even considering letting us do it.
the haunt itself is damn impressive.
with it's size, it can house many different rooms with many different gimmicks, but at 22.00 per person you find yourself getting ****ed when you hear about an awesome bit that you didn't get to go through.
still, if you've never been, I totally recommend it.
hell, let me know and maybe I'll meet you all out there.

Yeah cousins and the family want to go there next. They say its good so need to see what the family wants to do.The 13th Gate here in Baton Rouge is voted #1 Haunted House in Nation. I don't know what this is based on (maybe largest concession stand
). I have never been, but every one around here loves it.:

Oh man was it fun. Kinda small, only 20 or so people. But it could not have gone any better than it did. Dancing around the set, chilling with honey bob, Mac keeping the music going.
Good times.
Mac and his crew are Aces.
He's hosting a Halloween night shindig at another Pontiac hotspot. Only 5 bucks.Comment

Horror nights is awesome if you have the fast pass which is an additional $50! but it's worth it
