I wish I could be this loyal. I try to buy American with a lot of my purchases--especially things like clothing ( I try avoiding crap made in sweatshops) and i try to limit my Walmart purchases (everything in that store is made in China garbage), but until American auto makers make cheap reliable cars, I'll stick with Japanese rice burners. They last forever and don't depreciate at the level of American automobiles. I mean, compare, say the Toyota Corolla (which I own) to the the Ford Focus--no comparison. It's not just American cars, the Germans are lousy, too. Hondas and Toyotas have great reputations for a reason--they offer cheap utilitarian automobiles that last forever and have great resale value as well......
