Need Satelite Radio Boombox info - Help

    Hi guys,
My buddy gave me this free and clear
    He's moving.
He said it works great and to do anything I want with it.

I know NOTHING about satellite radios

Trying to gather some info info becaue I might try putting it on Craigslist.

All he told me was ...
Sky-fy boom box radio with car adapter plays through a tape deck.
Radio face is removable to play in either unit.
    Monthly fee needed to activate.
Boom Box runs on “c” size batteries and has a 25 foot antennae cable.

    Any other info appreciated ?
What would be a good asking price ?

looks to be a xm radio, antenna seems to be for the boom box-dont see the one for the car, check the car adapter it may be fm modulated and may not need the cass. adapter, looks to have a home adapter so you may not need to use batteries unless you are carrying it outdoors,to activate it is usually a small fee and then a monthly charge of around 14.00 per month,it is a few years old and should sell between 50.00 to 75.00 at best.

      IMO....

I think you should keep it for yourself you will love the programming both XM/Sirius offer three or more channels per genre. I love it, I paid for life time membership and don't regret it.....

Used price..not sure. I have one and it sounds great. I use it for the deck when my daughter is swimming. Amazon sells a new boom box for $190
