Man, a pic of Captain America and Billy on your wall. Did you know who they were, or were you just into the bikes? Awesome.

Wasn't into bikes just liked the movie! Yup thats the Mountain Man himself, John Denver, I was big into camping and hiking in the 70's! Elton John was my favorite Rock Star at the time. Don't remember what the Woody and Bike poster was. Big into cars than and my first car was in the garage directly below my room. A 1939 Chevy 2 door Master Deluxe Sedan. As well as my Dad's 72 Vega! Did anyone catch the 8 track recorder?

Three cheers for the red white and blue! Nice room. I like your desk set. It looks like that mouth was ready to eat your stereo!

Car magazines mostly. Cicular table made it easy to organize them. Problem is I still have them and every one I have gotton in the years since!

What a great 70's room! I love the desk, the chair, and the stereo system the most. But I love the whole room!

Dad and I built the desk and platform bed. Mom eventually made back bolsters and cushions so I had one long couch. Also had a bean bag chair positioned in front of the speakers (Which were a futuristic white plastic case with expanded metal grilles!)

The stereo was my 16th birthday present. (I had asked for a 57 Chevy but didn't get one!) I also asked for a 20 year old car for graduation in 1977 (Really wanted that 57 Chevy) but got a watch instead!

The room was built over the garage so I had my own staircase and a 3/4 bath. (had a shower and no tub).

It was a great room and I was far enough removed from Mom and Dad that I could turn up the tunes and not get yelled at (except by my sister!)
