...seems just like old times. Too bad The Partridge Family, Room 222, The Odd Couple and Love American Style don't follow. I remember when TVLand first started and they did Friday night 1972 (complete w/ Retro-Mercials). I wish they'd do that again!

I just happened to be flipping through the channels after Smallville and saw the BB starting so left it on. It's on now. Just watched the car accident episode with "Uncle Fester" (Jackie Coogan).
Good times.
Wish they'd make a Partridge Family reunion movie or new episode (like Dick Van Dyke did a few years back) while the whole cast is still alive.

The Brady Bunch being on in primetime is a good thing. As much as I love Andy Griffith, it seemed to be the only older show they aired at night anymore.
Boomerang used to run the Saturday morning blocks from each year as well. Now they seem to show the same handful of shows all week long, just like TVLand.
If I ran TVLand, I'd have a different schedule every night of the week, packing it with all the old shows they have access to, just like a network channel. If they must, spin off TVLand Prime with it's reality crap, or make a new TVLand Classic with all the old shows.

I watched a few last night on and off.
Question: ... did anyone else notice the really bad quality of the video's ?
TV Land usually play's DVD's of most of their shows ... but I can tell the Brady Bunch videos were lousy old syndication dupes that were very washed out and faded.Comment
