For All You Who Live in a Neighborhood...

    and have large yards.

Do you cut the grass to your property line, or do you cut some of your neighbor's yard?

I think me and my neighbor are in a battle to see who can cut further into each other's yard. I just cut past the porperty line by a good 20 feet (and about 120' deep).

He works weekdays, so he is always cutting on the weekends. I work shift work, so I always cut during the weekdays to keep my every other weekend open. He will come home today and tell me I don't have to do that, and I tell him the same on the weekends.

I guess one day I will just cut his yard and he will cut mine (ok with me, my yard is 2x larger than his).

No, it is kind of a running joke, basically to see how far into each others yards we will cut.

        OH GOOD!
If not, I was going to recommend some therapy!!

and to answer your question, this does not happen with me. Good fences make good neighbors.

          Some people might....

          >Do you cut the grass to your property line, or do you cut some of your neighbor's yard?

Whoever does it first does both.

I sometimes cross the property line a little and vice versa. It's no big deal since we're both pretty laid back about it and it isn't done intentionally.

We do have neighbors who are extremely picky about their yards and will practically call the police on you if you step foot on their yard for trespassing but fortunately none right beside us.

We do have a neighbor to the other side of us whose wife died a couple of years ago and he seems to have been in a funk ever since. He hasn't taken very good care of his yard (he used to) and it has become a bit of an eyesore. Rather than complain about it; we simply walked next door and mentioned that we were getting ready to mow our grass and if he would like, we could mow his as well. He seemed grateful that we made the offer and we were happy to get rid of the eyesore so it was a win/win all around with no bad feelings at all.

Me and my neighbor both have riders so the section that we do have in common in the front, I just cut the whole thing and so does he if he's cutting before me.

I cut the empty lot next to my house. I do have to look at it.

I thought about this, but he is an LSU fan. I should have just mowed "FLA" or "Gators" in his yard!!!

Hey, what can I say. Being the big Gator fan i am, to me you are "that LSU guy" Didn't mean it as much a football reference as just a reflection of what we ARE.
