Kiss on Letterman last night discussion thread

KISS performing "Modern Day Delilah" on The Late Show With David Letterman.
    October 6th, 2009

    Here is the Youtube.

    Everyone check it out.

Thoughts? I was impressed. Glad to see KISS reinvent themselves with new costumes and new songs.

That sounded really good. I am going to have to get out today and buy the new CD.

sounded pretty tight. Did Gene stick his tongue in Dave's ear at the end there?

Cool song. For all the crap they take about the line-up changes (some even from me) they can still go.

What ever happened to their "Tears are Falling", non-make-up phase?

I'm not a big fan of the new album, but they can still rock, thats for sure.

You know, I always wondered that myself. I guess albums sell better with the make-up...

yeah Kiss is everywhere again. Gene is such a genius at being a money making machine.

when the Cherry Dr. Pepper commercial came out with a new version of Dr. Love, I couldn't understand why. now I do.

I'm guessing that now that they've rerecorded a bunch of classics (and don't have to pay any royalties to Ace and Peter), their music will be licensed in all kinds of stuff.

Gene needs to dump some serious weight. He really looked ballooned out even in
the war armor. Paul is holding up well to be a 57 year old man dressed like he's still a teenage rock star. Eric and Tommy looked and played great. The song itself is okay, but nothing over-the-top.
