Speedos? Are you confusing us with some nice European folks? Maybe some of the 'bluehaired' Canucks sport those...
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

My whole view of Australia is from the Steve Irwin show and Mad Max movies and I never seen snow in either

I think he is, I don't see too many speedos in Canada. (white bellies on the other hand....). For the record, I'm one Canadian who won't be living it up in Florida this winter.

Not buying it. America is the best place to be (even with the problems), Canada is great too. The methodology on these things always baffles me.

I'm sure Meule, Cat, and others...would highly disagree with you.

I don't know if you have traveled abroad...but in my case...there are lots of awesome countries around this Earth of ours.

Let's face it...we usually love where we live because we are used to it.

There's no such thing as best this or that...it's all very subjective.

Having said that...I'm glad I was born and for the most part...raised...in the good 'ol USA.

I've traveled a lot, lots of great countries out there.
But truth be told, I've been on the list for a Green Card for the US since 2006.
                          Need I say more?

But they won't let me in!
Maybe I shouldn't have sent in a photo of me wearing my Mr Spock ears and waving my light saber....

If I had to live anywhere, it would certainly be Europe, possibly Spain or Italy for the climate. Just for the simple fact, u have such a wide variety of interesting countries together, basically the cultural pinicle of the world. Would never want to move to Australia, love to visit, but its in the middle of no where. Had a friend from over there, he said he loved Europe, for the simple fact, he could jump on a plane, and be in a differant country in 2 hours, over there, in the middle of the bush. Really just sums it up.

                              >I don't know why Iceland ranks so high...it's a desolate and boring place

That's what they WANT you to believe....

                              >I'm off to Australia!

I could never live there. I don't like the heat, and EVERYTHING is poisonous! Spiders, fish, PLATAPUSSES! Seriously! A platapus'll mess you up?!?!?

                              >won't they all be down here in another few weeks anyway?

HE KNOWS THE PLAN! He must be dealt with. Quietly....

Most of the countries high on the list are rather small - or at least have a small population - of course they are going to be listed as better places to live ... But who do they come running to when they have a problem ? --> good ole lucky #13
