OK, kind of a boring weekend on the matchups this weekend, but still have some good ones:

My Tigers beat GA in Athens

Miami host Oklahoma tonight

I will hang up and listen!!!!

Miami-OU has always been an exciting game. Not quite the rivalry they make it out to be (too few meetings), but a Grudge Match fer sure (mainly because of Switzer/Johnson....Coach/Player at Arkansas....OU versus Oklahoma State....ACT I/ACTII for the Dallas Cowboys...poor Aikman.)

Side note: When I was in the Navy, I pointed out how Miami broke Troy Aikman's leg in a Miami-OU game. I was promptly met with a round of, "You idiot....Troy Aikman played for UCLA.".

This was in the days before the internet and while I am a veritable repository of College Football knowledge...I couldn't live that one down or easily prove that I was right.

After watching this game, I am sure Florida can beat both these teams without putting their offense on the field at all!

Well, Tebow only needed three days to resurrect. Bradford and Gresham have yet to make it back into the lineup.

Oh, yeah......I want to see Texas get a good ole' fashioned butt-whippin in that game!

(Thing is...I really like Colt McCoy and Mac Brown is pretty hard to hate.)

The bad part is, as an OU AND OSU fan, I have to endure Texas TWICE.

Football has been a real downer for me this year.

My Maryland Terrapins are worthless. I can't believe they lose to Rutgers and Eastern Tennessee State (no disrespect to either school) but then beat Clemson last weekend. This is very typical for them.

The Redskins are just as pathetic. Barely squeaking by St. Louis and Tampa Bay....ughhh!

Great week for me, Both the Canes and Phins won it wasn't a big win but it's always nice to beat the crap out of the Bills

I know Marty and the Falcons had a Bye week, but they ain't too shabby, either. I'm hoping they make the playoffs this year.
