It's cheesy fun. There's a certain wonky charm to it. The Bradys were square even by the standards of the day. Like a holdover from the Beaver Cleaver type family.

Did Ken Berry try to spin off of EVERYONE'S TV show? Wasn't Mayberry R.F.D. enough?

I have read quite a few books and articles about the Brady Bunch. Apparently, Robert Reed constantly squabbled with Sherwood Schwartz over plot lines, inconsistencies, etc.

He was a classically trained actor and could not put up with the lame story lines which make the show a classic.

^ The irony is he'll be remembered more for being Mike Brady than he will for any of his 'classically trained" roles....

Here's a Brady Bunch trivia question...no googling and I remember this was a $1,000,000 question on Who wants to be a Millionaire.

What was Carol Brady's maiden name?

You would have lost! That was her ex-husband's name and Martin was one of the multiple choice answers.

                  Here is another one.

What was Peter's given Indian name during the Grand Canyon episode?

^ Chief Eagle Cloud actually gave Peter two different names....Peter didn't care for either of them: Middle Buffalo and Sleeping Lizard

                        Correct on both.

Here is another one. How many times did Jim Backus appear on the Brady Bunch and what characters did he portray?

Backus was the old prospector in the Grand Canyon episode (2nd part I recall) and later on would be Mr.Matthews, a boss at the firm who gave him a pool table (Season 5). Of course, the other link he has to the Bradys is he appeared as Mr.Howell on Sherwood Schwartz' other iconic show Gilligan's Island.

Alright, Anthony, (and everyone else) what was Carol Brady's nickname?

Oh, I got a lot of Brady trivia.

It was Twinkles I think given to her by an old High School crush...Tank something or another.

They made a bet during a High School reunion.
