Star Trek season 3 blu ray will include original cut of

Where No Man Has Gone Before.

The original format that was submitted to NBC.

It's only been seen thus far with bootlegs and youtube

    YouTube - Alternate Version 1

It will be great to have this version restored for blu-ray (and hopefully DVD for non blu -ray equipped Trekkers)

Comes out in December. The second season blu ray came out today.

Wow, kinda weird w/o the classic intro theme.

I got to meet Gary Lockwood at Wondercon last February. Nice guy, but kinda off in his perceptions of people, (well OK, me).

i rember back in the 80s this was a popular talking point at the STAR TREK CONS and it was always said that it was missing. Bummer it's being released on blu-ray as i don't have a blu-ray player

Everytime I hear this music I always think of one of the themes from Robinson Crusoe on Mars.
Mostly the part at .54 seconds in

          Cool stuff!

I completely forgot that Season 2 was coming out on Blu-ray this week. I have the first season on HD DVD but for obvious reasons I'll have to switch to Blu-ray for the remaining two seasons. Can't wait to pick this up.

            Wow, you got me curious

The thing I am really tickled about on the season 2 set is that they devoted one disc to the Tribbles shows and included the animated Tribbles episode in High Definition. So, I got an episode of my beloved TAS in high def.
