    The Nazi Nanny!

Big fuss in the Belgian news this month.
In a daycare center, the photo on the wall that was proudly displayed was...Adolf Hitler.

Hey, It's a way to make those unruly babies pay attention, right?
"Watch it, or Unca Adolf will getcha!!!!"

When questioned, the woman said not to make such a fuss, they weren't Neo Nazis at all, they were "old Nazis"!!
Difference being: "Neo Nazis are racists, while "old Nazis" just have fond memories of the old days."
So you see, you can just get warm and nostalgic feelings about someone who killed 6 million people, that's quite OK!

Make sure your baby gets a good start in life: check in at "SS Daycare".
"Vee vill teach zem zee oldfashioned vey."

Here in the United States a stunt like that would just get her some weird looks and perhaps some of the parents might take their kids out of her care --- but in Belgium that could get her 100 years in jail

And now here's a look at the daycare center in action:
      It's all good!

Unca Adolf isn't that popular around here, though I must say, he's starting to make a come-back, unfortunately.

I wonder if a daycare center with Bin Laden's photo would be acceptable in the US?

It wouldn't be acceptable from a moral standpoint ... But it would be a person's right to hang it in their own place if they choose too.

It would certainly cut back the number of applicants for your daycare.
None of that "waiting until there's room for your kid".

It could be a person's right, but I don't think places in the US would be accredited with photos like that up on the wall. Scary to think that such a horror could have people still believe in him. What kind of "come back" are you talking about?

I'm guessing they have the same neo-nazi BS there like we have here.

Lots of young people who think that Hitler had the right idea. Skinheads. Denying the Holocaust.
                    It's frightening.

I still can't understand how anyone from a country -- whether it be Belgium, UK or the United States would want to "worship" the ideals of a twisted defeated nation.

                      It just seems so STUPID

Y'know... it's not funny; but it is.

Not only that; but the "old days" was a time of strife, war, death, poverty.... I'm thinkin' the folks saying this weren't actually THERE for the "good old days."

                        >would want to "worship" the ideals of a twisted defeated nation.

People do it all the time. It's easy if you kinda "remake" history in your own head. (Which is easier if you weren't there.) Co-inkey-dinkelley they showed the "Fishsticks" episode of South Park last night, which has a great speech about how Cartmen edits history in his own mind to make himself seem like the hero. Same principle.

When I was a very young child a friend of my Mom's had the numbers tatooed on his arm. I asked why and everything went very quite. I remember the sadness in his eyes. Then the subject was changed quickly.
I was home alone many years later on a Saturday night when I was 12 or 13 flipping channels when I came across a PBS special on the Holocaust I had no idea about what I was going to see. I was so shocked to find the world could be so cruel. I was numb watching the TV program. That was the day when I relized what the numbers meant....

That's amazing. Just shows how strong the brainwashing was doesn't it.

They asked 14 year old kids in a school "who is Hitler?"
                              60% said "a soccer player"...

I guess they didn't go to the right daycare center....
