    MythBusters Superhero Myths

Just saw the promo for next weeks Mythbusters. They are doing superhero myths, and most of them look to be centered around Batman. Warm up the TIVOS

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

It would pretty much have to be centered around Batman. He is one of the very few ONLY Human Superheroes. His is the only testable model for the most part. You can't test Kryptonian abilities or Gamma Irradiated humans in the real world.

        Can't wait!

Mythbusters is such a cool show, but given the subject matter, it will be especially good.

        Good point.

The only other ones I can think of, without racking my brain, are Green Arrow and Punisher and they aren't in the same class of popularity as Batman.

My family loves Mythbusters so this will be great. Perhaps they'll expose Jammie to gamma radiation.

Yeah, that was a good one. The classic where they blew up the cement truck was awesome.

I don't think I've ever seen anything cooler than that. That explosion was awesome

                            Thanks for the heads up.

Speaking of superhero myths, wasn't there a book called something like, "Man of Steel Woman of Kleenex." My girlfriend and I have the nerd argument over whether or not Superman could make love to Lois Lane. She thinks Supes could control his... um, release. Whereas I think he would rip a hole in her. Does any know what this book says?

Not sure about that book (it sounds familiar) but I recall hearing that a famous sci-fi writer (I'm thinking it was Ray Bradbury) once wrote an article about Superman's inability to mate without facing murder charges.

Personally, if Supes can pick up a coffee cup without hurling it into space, why couldn't he moderate his...er...actions during...ya know?

Obviously, in the modern comics, Supes has things under control. Him and Lois have been married for almost 10 years. I sure hope they've consumated that relationship by now!!!
