Didn't these two make the cover because of their teams makingh the Super Bowl? I'd say the real curse, then, is making the Super Bowl. That's why my Cowboys have played safe since 1996 and not even won a playoff game. No curse for us.

You could argue,.. as far as the following season goes,.. when Favre's Face Graced the Cover... He didn't get injured the next season to where he was out for multiple Games.

Not every Player on the Cover of Madden Made it to the Superbowl. However,.. Every Player with the Exception of Favre ,.. gets taken out the Next yr,.. in an Injury or 2,.. to where the miss a good portion of the season.

& When you go threw the Player's ..., other than McNabb,.. & Lewis ..., I don't think any player thats been on that cover have ever been the same player again either.

The way Favre played last season,I wouldn't exactly say he dodged the curse. That's something else I look at when saying there's a "curse",how well someone has played since being on the cover of Madden.
