Going through my mom's things and I found...

    ...my sister's Wonderama bagel necklace.

For those of you not in the know...Wonderama was a kid's show that aired on Sunday mornings on Ch. 5 in NYC. I was fortunate enough to be on this show when I was 8 b/c my older sister's boyfriend worked in the mailroom at WNEW. Anyway, they gave each child a laquered mini Lenders bagel necklace painted to look like a person's face. Sadly, mine was eaten by my dog when I was a kid, (I left it sitting on a stool in my room), but my sister Drenette (RIP) had one as well (even though she was technically too old). Thankfully my mom saved it, and now it's hanging up in my toyroom.

I've been finding other treasures as well, but stuff that would only mean something to me. Just thought I'd share....carry on!

I clearly remember those bagels on the show.

Was that just one episode ? ... or did they do that all the time ?

If it was only one time, weird I remember the exact episode you were on, Sharry

I was on the show in '74 or '75 (I was in 3rd grade). Although I didn't get picked for any games (boy was I mad! I didn't sing the song at the end), I did get a close-up during the Disco dancing. I don't have any footage. I do remember we had some dorky guest called "The Professor".

I couldn't find the exact ending theme, but when host Bob McCallister went on to do the show "Kids Are People Too" in its first season, he did sing the theme song:

And here is some Wonderama footage: (no, I'm not in this ep):

Thanks for the footage...I was wondering. What a great job giving away toys to kids!

What a great memory for you to find. I watched that show every Sunday, too. I forgot all about them giving those things away. (It was more than one episode).
                      It's all good!
