Great optical illusions, but they all have to be viewed by only one certain angle (where the camera is when it photographed them)

On the street they mostly likely don't look as good unless you're standing in the perfect spot.

                          Very impressive.
The artist must have an exceptional "insight" in how things are viewed. Because once you're down there with your chalk on the pavement, how do you know how it looks from a distance?

Btw: anyone with the name Julie Beaver should also get a career in movies....

apparently it's Julian Beaver. I did some research

Julian Beever is an English, Belgium-based chalk artist who has been creating trompe-l'œil chalk drawings on pavement surfaces since the mid-1990s. His works are created using a projection called anamorphosis, and create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle.
Beever works as a freelance artist and creates murals for companies. He has worked in the UK, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Spain, the U.S., Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Russia and Portugal.
