    George Lynch

Anybody remember the guitar player George Lynch from Dokken and Lynch Mob fame from the 80s and part of the 90s?

I guess he has resurfaced with a new project called "Souls of We" and our band (Fatal Agenda) has been asked to open for them tommorow night.

I am a little excited but not as excited as I would have been if this was Dokken or Lynch Mob. I would love to hear those songs. I am not excited about hearing a new project but oh well..

It would be kind of nice to hear George Lynch rip into Mr. Scarey or Wicked Sensation but I am pretty sure he won't touch any of his "other band stuff."

I am wondering what kind of a crowd his new band is going to draw tomorrow night? They are charging 20 bucks at the door and the stage/club is pretty darn big.
We get to turn new people onto our music (hopefully)

Here is a link to the club if anyone lives in Wisconsin and wants to come by. LOL

    This is the add.

    Here we are (Fatal Agenda)

and a link to our site if anyone cares.

Yes Huedell. I guess George has to eat. :D

Anybody a fan of George Lynch or have been following his new band?

Heck yeah! I remember George Lynch from Dokken. That guy could tear up a guitar! I loved "Breaking The Chain's" , "It's not Love", "Just Got Lucky" just to name a few. Dokken rocked! I still like their music to this day when I dip back into my 80's archives.

I have not followed or heard of his new band since Dokken broke up years ago. I will have to give them a listen to.

Speaking of listen to I need to get one of your CD's as well. Your band looks awesome. I hope all goes well for you and your band during the gig with George Lynch's new band. Hopefully (fingers crossed) George still rocks and sounds as great as he once did with Dokken.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

Dokken has not broken up. They took a break in the early 90s so Don Dokken could do a solo album. After they tried to reunite with Lynch a few times they finally found a guitar player named John Levin who eventually became the Lynch replacement after a few guitar players came in and tried to replace Lynch but failed.
Recently, Dokken went back to their roots and recorded an "Dokken sounding" album called "Lightning Strikes Again" and it has been a success. They still continue today as Dokken with John Levin on guitar, Billy Sparks on bass and "wildman" Mick Brown on drums.

See there. I told you I knew little to nothing about Dokken these days. I had no idea that they were even still in existence nor did I know that they never officially broke up. Thanks for the links. I will check them out and get up to date on what I missed out on.

Also thanks for the info on your CD. Check your PP account. Payment just sent. I cannot wait to hear your music. Thanks a bunch!

Awesome. It will go out this weekend or the beginning of the next week, depending on how fast the guitar player's wife can crack a whip and get the orders out. I can't wait for you to hear it. It is some of our best work.

Awesome show! The club was packed wall to wall!
George Lynch's new band isn't Dokken or Lynch mob but they still brought in a great crowd. I even interviewed him for the mag. If you are interested in the interview goto my Facebook profile and goto my notes.

Here are some high light pix of the night.

This is us with London Legrand (the singer from Souls of We)

that was awesome. he was up there for me as far as 80's ax-men go. Some incredible artists who don't get the credit they deserve.

Poor Don Dokken. He is really trying to keep it together out there and use his 80's success to sell tickets to new shows and even tried to recreate the early Dokken 80s sound on his new Dokken album "Lightning Strikes Again" by using a George Lynch wannabe guitarist and doing a lot of similar sounds and vocal harmonies.

In my interview I asked George Lynch about Dokken's new record they have put out without him and he laughed and said, "I gotta give them credit. They are the best Dokken tribute band out there."

That line alone made me laugh. George rocked pretty good at the end of the night. We got a video being processed when we all went up there and rocked out with them at an all jam later on.
