Think about it, if you've been there and seen that... why come back? That's their butt backwards way of marketing towards teens... when you know they'd rather go to Universal.

Me? I like MGM. Or whatever they're going to call it. I'd rather they'd just name it Walt Disney Studios, as an homage to where it all came from. I enjoy the TOT, The Rocking Rollercoaster, the Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Muppetvision 3D, Indiana Jones stunt show, the backlot ride and the Sci Fi drive in. Granted we get the parkhopper and hit the Magic Kingdom in the morning til 1PM, then hit MGM... but it's all good. It's usually dead in the afternoon, and you can run through lines quick since everyone did the opposite.
Yup that's the same way i do it,Magic Kingdom first and then MGM or Epcot & Animal kingdom if I have too

^^^ I would be there if that was the show!!! I really don't get how making the attractions flash in the pan crap like High School moosical will help in the long term. I really dislike the Magic Kingdom-ization of the parks.

Is the Animation Tour still showing that dated film with Robin Williams and Walter Cronkite?

The park is great for half a day. Get the park hopper and spend the afternoon and evening at magic Kingdom or epcot

It was ok for me. The Tower of Terror was not working when I was there which bummed me out but the Aerosmith Rock 'n' rollercoaster was good. Not a lot of big thrills or dips but I did like the story line.

The Sci Fi Cafe was really good and I did like the shows.

The Sci-Fi Drive-In is cool! The 50s Prime Time Cafe not so much. The waiters and waitresses portraying "uncles" and "moms" can be annoying.

yeah I'd like to see some more stuff added, but I just hope they don't touch the Wizard of oz and others movie ride,Tower of terror, aerosmith coaster, the Lil' Mermaid show and my favorite thing in all of MGM the Star wars gift shop

and to eat-the sci-fi 50's drive in restaurant

I can understand it from a business point of view...they licensed the MGM name originally just to get some of the properties for their "Great Movie Ride" I believe (think "Wizard of Oz", "Singing In the Rain", etc.). Seems like they're breaking from the "Old Hollywood" theme to pump interest in more modern franchises like Toy Story and High School Musical.

We've always enjoyed Disney-MGM whenever we've gone but it is a little lacking...it's a small park to begin with compared to the others. And it seems there are more shows than actual ride attractions, so the day pretty much blows by before you even do anything because you're sitting in one of the theatres/soundstages. The fact that it's the earliest closing park doesn't help matters either.

But the Tower of Terror still rocks! My favorite hands down, er, raised in the air!
