I don't think so. He is just a pretty boy that the media likes.
He is like Danny Wuerffel. He is a one trick pony qb'ing for a great team. Once he gets to the NFL, he will not do crap.
Emmitt Smith was a much better rounded college player than Timmy.
As for the better college player ever, I will have to think about that one...sigpicComment

He has to be in the top, I don't like the guy cause he's a Gator and he has this lil' innocent it wasn't me look to him.. but come on, just look at what he's done.
It's just hard to pick the best, because some were just great for their teams like Ken Dorsey was to Miami, I think he only lost like 2 games in his Career(To us he was the best player in what people say is the best team ever,the 01 Canes)

Tim Tebow

the 2001 Miami LB's were Jon Vilma, DJ Williams, and Dan Morgan. Jeremy Shockey and Kellen Winslow at TE. Andre Johnson at WR. Clinton Portis, Willis Mcgahee, and Frank Gore at RB. Sean Taylor was Ed Reed's back up, that's how good that team was...

Let's see what he does this year. If he wins the Heisman and/or Florida wins another title, then I think he would definitely be the best ever. He's right near the top already.Comment

I'd put him in the top 5. It'll be hard to match last season but if he comes close then I'd say top 3 of all time. Definately the best in recent years.Comment

good point. Look what John David Booty , Chris Leak , Troy Smith , Rex grossman,J. Russell and other " great" college quarterbacks have done , very little to nothing. I think Tebow is a good quarterback but as a whole the Florida " team" is one of the greatest in years. Tebow is very good but will fizzle out in the NFL, if he plays at all. The florida " team" gave the heisman to tebow and he is overhyped as an overall great player.Comment
