George Harrison did a great cover of the Shirelle's "He's so Fine". He changed the title to "my sweet lord".

I'm late to the party. Most of my faves have already been mentioned. I didn't see Where have all the good times gone? - VH cover of the Kinks. I like that one better than Pretty Woman or Dancing in the Street. I despise the crap metal covers of Careless Whisper and Behind Blue Eyes, but I do like the Disturbed version of Land of Confusion and I loved G'n'R's version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Billy Idol does a mean Mony Mony......Gretchen Wilson does an awesome cover of Heart's Barracuda.

William Shatner's Lucy in the Sky. Absolutely brilliant. Works on a lot of levels.

    Easily my favourite cover:

Frente's version of Bizarre Love Triangle by New Order

Try to get that out of your head

One cover I do not like is Metalic doing Turn the Page

I don't know why but I just don't like their version

    >disturbed: land of confusion

Oh YEAH! Heavier, grimier and best of all; no Phil!

Gamma Ray's version of "It's A Sin" was pretty good too.

    >An no, William Shatner doing "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds" is NOT one of the great covers

    Sez you!
