With all the KISS talk around here lately... (in here u KISS fans!)

I dedicated one of me and my friend's KISS discussion sessions
posted on myspace to the Mego Museum members who posted
in the SONIC BOOM thread who are KISS fans or who just briefly commented
    on the new KISS news.

The sessions are the ones marked "KISS TALK MEGO STYLE"

    Here's the address:

Thanks Huedell. I appreciate you withholding your feelings on Sammy... Your cool with me bro. Great discussion and I'm enoying listening to them. Don't worry though about expressing your thoughts about any of the bands you like to dislike. I'm not throwing the baby out with the bath water if we agree to disagree. Differences are what make the world go 'round. At 45 with three kids I better have some kind of skin on me. I'm fully enjoying your recordings. Enjoy my "sweeping" statements. Keep them going!

I knew you guys would enjoy my "live" comments on your personas and posts
here at the Museum----as far as me and Sammy go, I am more critical
of Sammy than most----and there are a few reasons for that which I
won't go into too much----but it's mostly because he was the succesor
to Roth who I'd rather have stayed in Van Halen and who has a totally
different style that suits the "classic Van Halen" direction.

If Sam would have stayed solo, I'm sure I would've been more apt to liken
him to my affections for bands like JOURNEY, NIGHT RANGER and FOREIGNER.

"Busting balls" with the Sam guys like yourself is sincerely all in fun
but actually there are a few "nice" things I can say
about Sammy (and his fans) as well---I am a fan of his solo period directly after he left VAN HALEN---the "Marching To Mars/Little White Lies/
Mas Tequila" years....I just don't admit it as much.

LOVE those songs. Yeah, Hagar for me is just a quick connection with my youth. He has and always will be a regular joe who happen to get famous doing what he loves to do. I met him once and he was a complete down-to-earth guy. No pretense of celebrity about him. It was like running into a long lost friend. Good man. I doubt if he's ever met a stranger in his life. I respect him, because you don't find that quality in many people (least of all in his line of work). Keep up the recordings on your Myspace site. I'm enjoying listening to them. I finally have a voice to connect with one of my Mego bros!

That's cool you got to meet Sam. He truly sounds like a great, warm guy.

Thank you so much for your encouragement for continuing the site.
I'm going to try to stay on top of it!

As far as the "voice to connect with"---that has been of THE greatest boons
of doing that site. People hearing my personality on a recording is so
much different than having them read my posts...I so want to become closer
with my Internet friends and short of calling them all up on the phone, the recordings do a good job of having a good time socially and connecting
with friends on the Internet in a way that typing just doesn't accomplish.
