I need help with the new Gi-Joe movie

Hey guys i need some help here. My wife's friend wants to go see this with us but has a 6 year old. When we saw Transformers it was too much for the little guy. So i think Gi-Joe is pg13, for those who have seen it, can she bring him or will it be too much? Thanks in advance.

More violent than Transformers and the violence is more realistic. I don’t think it would be good for a 6 year old.

Yeah, I'd be leery of taking a six year old, there are some pretty violent deaths and a character gets his face burned off. I'm glad I didn't take my son, he'd still be talking about that.

I'd have to agree but I would've taken my kid if I had one

It might be better when your child is older. But 6 is way too young to take to a movie like that. If I had a child who wanted to see G.I.JOE, I'd let him watch the classic 80's cartoon, but I would wait a few years before showing him the live movie.
